Ocean's 11 minus 6

Hey Folks! Here's the Robert Lund Family update:

Robert Sr.-Yes, the rumors have been confirmed. Rob was called to be a Bishop in September of 2007. He now enjoys an increased amount of home and cell phone calls, and is faithfully serving everyone in the ward. Among his other duties as a Bishop he has helped families in the ward move, performed a marriage ceremony, and still kept his two jobs.

Marie-Has recently been called as a Sunday school teacher, but more importantly, is still a full time taxi driver, chef, Laundromat, and homemaker. yes, she is amazing; and no, her autograph is not for sale.

Rebekah-is now at BYU, where her major is Math Education, no History, wait maybe English. I guess its settled on undecided. However, she does love her roommates and her ward. She will be looking forward to another challenging semester at BYU for the winter. she will still be working in the math lab, but hopes to be able to spend more time relaxing.

Robert Jr-(disclaimer: he wrote this portion himself) soooooooooooooo, i have been doing great. having lots of fun building and riding motercycles (see video) but it's not as fun as speding time with my family at reunions. i hope everyone is feeling good and not too stressed at this holiday time of year. i have been attending davis high school. go darts. i can't wait for summer and my upcoming birthday--the big 17. And as a question to all--how much do we really get for making it 'till 17 and not dating? i just wanted a straight answer so i could give my dad a big, bad, BURN. burn, burn, dad!

Angela-Is still practicing the oboe, and has finally progressed to the point where tunes are recognizable. just kidding, she is in advanced band at her junior high school, and her talents seem to be expanding almost as fast as her wardrobe. she enjoys doting on her dog, and coloring in her Disney Princess coloring book in her spare time. rock on.

Cindy-(the cat) still alive after 10 years living outdoors
Tinkerbell-(the dog) enjoys temperatures of over 100 degrees Celsius and also rarely touches the ground as she manages to be carried everywhere

Family Reunion

If anyone didn't get an email that lets you see and order the pictures at Costco please email or call me. I have almost all of them uploaded there and have retouched (adjusted light and conrast) some. A huge thank you to Grandmuzzy and Granddaddy for a wonderful time! It was so great to see everyone again and to spend time together.

I promised and I will deliver, honest. It might just take a few more days, sorry. We've been busy trying to fix/replace our washer without spending an arm and a leg. I think I finally got it yesterday now I just have to catch up a little on the stuff I had to ignore while I took care of it. Her are a couple though straight off the camera with no retouching.

Happy 4Th of July!
I Don't Know About Where you live but we can do Fireworks over here.
We buy tons of them and from were we live we can watch the town's firework show too.
We like smoke bombs witch give off colored smoke and then we run through it .
Last year we found a Firework the looks like a chicken and gives off a scream then shoots sparks. Have a good one!

Okay now 66 more sleeps is a thing of the past, if I counted right then we only have 19 more sleeps ( or 20 ). Less than than 3 weeks till "we're all together again we'll be there be there 19 more sleeps till we're all together again, we'll be there WE'LL BE THERE!!!!!!

Dance, sing, act!

Katie has had so much fun at musical theater camp. She has a solo (The Rainbow Connection) and several other fun parts. We saw the first of three performances tonight and she was great. even better she a fabulous time, made a bunch of new friends and learned alot.

(no) SPOILER ALERT!

I Went to Utah a little while ago and while I was there we talked about a NO SPOILER policy. You see as some of you know the 7 Harry Potter book comes out the day the Reunion starts. So we thought that nobody should be able to tell about the book if they have already read it or reading it so as not to spoil it for the people who haven't read it. Think it will work???

Little Late

OK, So this is a Little late but I forgot to mention the rest of my D.C. trip.


Well the next day with all the business meetings we went to nothing big happened. We went to a soccer bar and grill though, It was GROSS! The Spaghetti I was have was sticking to the rough of my mouth, the waitress didn't give us our change either. The next day we went to Australia, Well the Australia Embassy witch is technically owned by Australia. Then we walked to the White House it was so pretty. We took a metro to the monument and went to touch it, it is a lot taller in person. Then there was the W.W. II memorial a little ways so we walked to that it really made you think about life more clearly. Then that Saturday we had lunch with former CIA operatives and they were sweet. That night we went to a soccer game and got the seats way up high. I had a great time in D.C.!

So Miles got the hose and filled up a big puddle before Daddy managed to wrestle it away. Since he was already wet I (deep breath) let him play in the mud. Then all the kids joined in (as if they hadn't been egging him on all along...) Well it was pretty messy but lots of fun!

May Birthdays

Only 66 more sleeps!

Well we've all been busy! Nicole's Dad had a big surprise party for his 65th b-day so she and the younger kids spents some time up there. David and the older kids got to come too, they just had to leave early b/c they were taking the WASL that week. We've been running and cycling and training for some races. David, Nicole and Katie each have triathlons they plan to do this summer. science fair is quickly approaching as is the end of school! Hard to believe. We got some of our garden in with more planned for this afternoon.

There are only 66 more sleeps until the family reunion! We're very excited and can't wait to see you all.

Vacations!

This year I have so many vacations. On May 7- 11 I'm going to 5th grade camp. And then on May 23-27 my dad and I are going to Washington D.C.! Then on June 11th the fam and I are going to Utha Ceder City to see my other grandparents. then we are going to las vegas then to Grandmuzzy and grand daddy's house. Then to park city. After that we come home then we go camping, after that is the reunon. Then sometime in the summer we go to Silverwood. It is a very busy year!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. We did and were grateful to share it with the Carmens and Savages. Chariti and Richard let me practice with my new camera on their gorgeous little Ivi. She is incredibly sweet and patient and I can't help but be awed by miracles, blessings and the atonement when I see her.

Spring Break

We have had a great week! We got to ride horses with the cousins in Utah, celebrate Max's 10th birthday, spend a five days in San Diego, visit Sea World and Legoland, and go to the beach.
